Travel from Hindon Civil Terminal just got a lot easier. Passengers flying in and out of Ghaziabad’s Hindon Terminal can now book taxis round the clock, thanks to a new partnership between the Airports Authority of India and Gujarat-based cab aggregator Buzzway. The service, which began operations on October 8, aims to make airport commutes more convenient by providing safe, reliable, and reasonably priced rides across the National Capital Region.

Round-the-clock convenience for flyers
The new service operates 24x7 directly from within the Hindon Terminal premises, offering travelers an alternative to app-based cabs or private taxis. Passengers can book their rides through a dedicated Buzzway counter at the arrivals area or via phone. The terminal’s location, around 2 kilometers from the main road, had previously made it difficult for flyers to find immediate transport options, making this initiative a major relief for frequent travelers.
According to an Airports Authority of India official, “We have allotted a counter to Buzzway at the arrival zone where passengers can book taxis easily at reasonable rates. Cabs are stationed right within the terminal area for quick access.”
Affordable fares across NCR and nearby districts
Buzzway’s fare structure is designed to keep travel accessible for both local and intercity commuters. Within Ghaziabad, the fare starts at INR 800 for up to 15 kilometers and INR 1,200 for up to 25 kilometers. Rides to Noida are priced around INR 1,200 for 25 kilometers, while a trip to Meerut costs approximately INR 2,500.
Buzzway director Shayamal Godia shared that the initial response has been encouraging, with most bookings coming from NCR areas such as Noida and Gurugram, and some passengers opting for longer trips to Meerut and Bulandshahr. The company currently operates a fleet of 20 vehicles but plans to expand soon in response to growing demand.

Boost to Hindon’s growing passenger traffic
Hindon Civil Terminal currently handles 21 flights connecting 16 cities, serving nearly 500 passengers every hour. As connectivity and flight operations continue to increase, the demand for efficient last-mile transport has become a key priority. The Airports Authority of India has also begun work on expanding the terminal’s infrastructure, with 6.8 acres in Sikandarpur village identified for future development.
The introduction of Buzzway’s cab services marks a significant step in making Hindon a more accessible and passenger-friendly airport alternative for travelers in western Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi NCR region.
