This year’s edition will showcase over 240 films from 81 countries, featuring 13 world premieres, 4 international premieres, and 46 Asian premieres. A record 2,300 submissions were received, marking the festival’s growing international appeal.

The event’s highlights include the International Cinema section featuring global masterpieces and the Indian Panorama segment spotlighting India’s diverse storytelling traditions. The newly launched AI Film Festival will explore how artificial intelligence is shaping modern filmmaking, complemented by the CinemAI Hackathon and the WaveX Startup Zone.

The festival will also host Creative Minds of Tomorrow, a mentorship platform for 100 emerging artists, writers, and directors. The coveted Golden Peacock Award for Best Film and the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award remain the most anticipated honours of the festival.
