Hong Kong is ready to welcome winter in spectacular style as Central transforms into a glittering wonderland for WinterFest 2025, running from November 14, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has unveiled its most ambitious lineup yet, positioning the city as Asia’s ultimate Christmas destination.

The centrepiece of the celebration, Winter Wonderland in Central, will feature breathtaking installations, live music, festive markets, and an all-new “Immersive Light Show in Central.” Eight iconic buildings will be turned into a vast illuminated canvas using 3D projection mapping, lighting effects, and music, transforming the skyline into a living piece of art.

Statue Square Garden will once again be transformed into a Christmas Town, complete with toy-themed decorations, carol performances, Santa appearances, and 12 festive chalets offering food, crafts, and gifts. The highlight of the town — a 20-metre Christmas tree wrapped in shimmering ribbons — will tower above the square, casting a golden glow across the district.

Nearby, Chater Road will be reborn as Starlight Boulevard, with over 30 trees and pedestrian bridges covered in dazzling lights. The festive journey continues inside LANDMARK ATRIUM, home to “Noëlia at LANDMARK,” a 30-metre-wide installation featuring an 11-metre-high lighthouse and Hong Kong’s largest interactive wishing lake.

According to HKTB Chairman Dr. Peter Lam, this year’s festival represents a new milestone. “We aim to create a strong festive atmosphere citywide and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as Asia’s top winter travel destination,” he said.

In addition, visitors will enjoy over 300 WinterFest Delights offers, covering dining, shopping, attractions, and transportation across the city. The season will culminate in a grand New Year’s Eve fireworks celebration, lighting up Victoria Harbour with dazzling brilliance.

With direct flights from major Indian cities and visa-free entry, Hong Kong invites Indian families, couples, and groups to embrace the festive magic just hours away from home.
