Starting June 4, Kerala will inaugurate its private train services from Thiruvananthapuram. This initiative, a collaboration between SRMPR Global Railways and Princy World Travels, is part of the Bharat Gaurav Yatra project aimed at promoting tourism through rail travel.

The first journey will take passengers to Goa, stopping at major cities like Mumbai and Ayodhya. Travelers can join the train at several stops, including Kollam and Ernakulam, among others.

The train will consist of various coaches, including two sleeper-class coaches and several air-conditioned ones, totaling a capacity of 750 passengers. To enhance travel safety and comfort, a crew of 60, including medical staff, will be on board.

Passengers will enjoy several amenities like food service, Wi-Fi, and GPS tracking. The train also offers comprehensive tour packages, which include accommodations in star hotels, meals, and guided tours. Ticket prices vary by destination and class; for instance, a four-day trip to Goa starts at INR 13,999 for sleeper class, with higher rates for air-conditioned options.
