Delhi is set to get a New Green Park Near Red Fort, thanks to NDMC.

Delhi, a city with a rich history and vibrant culture, is about to add a new chapter to its urban development story. The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is working on creating a Heritage Park next to the iconic Red Fort. This visionary project aims to blend the city's past with its modern growth.

The Heritage Park project is happening in stages, with the first phase already completed. During this phase, trees and plants were carefully planted, lights were installed, and pathways were built, setting the stage for a serene atmosphere.

Moving into the second phase, the project will see the construction of a boundary wall. This wall, designed to match the architectural style of Old Delhi, will add to the park's charm.

Additionally, the park will include recreational facilities like swings and slides, making it a fun place for families to enjoy together while also appreciating history.

An official from NDMC highlighted the goal of enhancing the area around the Red Fort, creating a space that attracts tourists and provides a relaxing retreat for locals. This project reflects the city's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage while improving urban living standards.

In addition to the Heritage Park, NDMC is also working on a theme park in Karol Bagh, set to open in April 2024. This park will offer various entertainment options, including rides and a water park for children. It will also feature an amphitheatre for cultural events, promoting community engagement and appreciation for diverse cultures.

Expected to become a popular destination for both locals and visitors, these parks demonstrate NDMC's dedication to enhancing public spaces across Delhi.
